Online Booking for Hair Salons

Colour clients decide at 11 p.m. and Saturday fills up before you unlock the door. A booking page on your own website catches both — while your hands are in somebody's hair.

What makes this trade hard to schedule

Colour takes three hours, and the calendar has to know that A balayage is not a 30-minute haircut. When bookings come in by phone and get written on a paper page, long services get squeezed next to each other and somebody ends up waiting an hour in your chair.

A last-minute cancellation on a Saturday is a hole you can't refill Three hours of a stylist's day vanishes and you find out by text at 8 a.m. You can't phone thirty people before 9. An open slot that anybody can see and grab refills itself.

Saturday is booked before Saturday starts Everyone wants the same six hours. The clients who call during that window can't get through, and a haircut is not something people call twice about.

What matters most in this trade

Long services block the right amount of time

Every service carries its own duration — 3 hours for balayage, 45 minutes for a blowout — so the system never offers a slot that doesn't actually fit.

Clients ask for their stylist by name

Each stylist has their own services and their own hours. A client who only sits in one chair books that chair; a client who doesn't care gets whoever is free.

Your menu is grouped the way clients think

Haircut, Colour, Treatment, Styling — with the time each one takes shown right there. Nobody books a "full colour" thinking it takes twenty minutes.

Questions people in this trade ask

Can a client request a specific stylist?

Yes. Each stylist is set up with their own working hours and the services they perform. Clients either pick a stylist or leave it open, and only genuinely free times are shown.

Can I take a deposit for a long colour appointment?

Not through appt247 — the booking page does not collect money. Most salons handle it by writing the deposit policy into the service description and taking it at the chair. If online deposits matter a lot to you, tell us and we'll talk about it honestly before you sign up.

What if I need to block off a Thursday afternoon?

You set each stylist's working hours and can block time off in the dashboard. Blocked time simply stops being offered to clients.
